AP Computer Science Principles
Prerequisite: Technology I (QSI Requirement) and Algebra (College Board Requirement)
Course Description: QSI Secondary AP Computer Science Principles course introduces students to the foundational concepts of computer science and challenges them to explore how computing and technology can impact the world. With a unique focus on creative problem solving and real-world applications, AP Computer Science Principles prepares students for college and career. In this course, students will develop computational thinking vital for success across all disciplines, such as using computational tools to analyze and study data and working with large sets of data to analyze, visualize, and draw conclusions from trends.
