Course Description: Wellness is a course in which students learn about the benefits of a healthy, physically active lifestyle and how to incorporate this into their everyday lives. The students will learn the relationship between health and fitness. These units have both fitness and health-related components. Students will participate in physical activity, engage in self-assessment, set goals, design health and fitness plans, and present a wellness portfolio. The portfolio will contain artifacts that show their development and growth during the school year.
